DATA SHARING

The LIFE DREAM Project spatial data infrastructure follows the Open Science and FAIR Principles that drive beneficiaries to make their research data Findable, Accessible Interoperable and Re-usable, fostering the exchange of scientific data, and leading to knowledge discovery and innovation. The two main user interface are:

  • LIFE DREAM Geoportal integrating previous knowledge about Deep Reef and human pressures (Marine Litter) with new data coming from Partners and LIFE DREAM oceanographic surveys. Through this user-friendly web Interface, scientists, policy makers and citizens are able to visualize and navigate the data in the four Project Areas.
  • LIFE DREAM Metadata catalogue for data discovery and preservation. Through the catalogue, users are able to find information about data and documents produced in the Projects. The metadata describe among others data history, data availability, access rights, contact persons, Persistent Identifiers (e.g. DOI), and contain the link to access data and documents according to the LIFE DREAM Data Policy.
